Moving with your Fishes

Fishes are delicate living being and cannot survive without water. Many people keep fish in the aquarium made in the home. Moving fishes from one place to another can be dangerous as it can result in loss of life of fishes. It is very difficult for fishes to survive during transportation. Moving fishes can affect adversely and it is recommended to sell the fishes and buy new fishes after reaching the place. You can save the life of fishes and can give them comfort by avoiding their movement.

1. For providing enough air to the fishes there are air pumps available in the market which help in releasing the stress. Special stones are available for fishes which are kept in the water for increasing the oxygen content. Stones release oxygen and help in proper respiration of fishes.
2. You should excess water from the aquarium and can make the place more comfortable and stress free. You can remove water by using bucket. You should remove water properly that it does not affect the fishes. You have to take proper care while removing water with buckets.
3. You can remove fishes from the aquarium before emptying the aquarium with the use of buckets. You can keep your fishes out by pouring them in buckets or tubs filled with water. You can reduce the content of water from aquarium but there is need to keep some water to preserve the aerobic bacteria in the water.
4. It is better to take the aquarium along with you. You can take the responsibility of keeping the fishes safe on your own. You can carry your fishes along with you or may be in your own vehicle to keep the fishes safe. Few people don't rely on the services of the moving company and keep the fishes along with them for better security. If you are moving to nearby place and journey is short then you can carry the fishes in your vehicle.
5. If you are planning to move to a distant place then it is better to empty the aquarium and to make the aquarium clean for safety of the aquarium because glass can break easily if there is little water at the bottom. You can buy the hardy fishes when you reach the destination point and can put them inside aquarium for starting the nitrogen cycle. After some time you can put your fishes.
